Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The author accept the Je-LKS ETHICAL CODE
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Guidelines for Author and reported in the 'How to Write a Paper for Je-LKS' document
  • The author(s) used the Paper Format File (DOT) to write the contribution. The paper can be uploaded in Word or ODT format.
  • The author undertakes to upload, during the paper submission process, the signed form of Copyright Transfer and Publishing Conditions Acceptance (download PDF | DOC) .
  • The author undertakes to upload, during the paper submission process, the signed form of absence of Conflict of Interests or a Statement Clarifying the possible Conflict of Interests (download PDF | DOC) .
  • The author (or authors if group work) claims to be the sole author and sole owner of the work and have all necessary rights to permit the Editor and SIe-L to publish it.
  • The author affirms that the publication of the work not infringe the rights of third parties, does not violate any criminal law and raises the publisher and SIe-L from all damages and costs that may result from publication. The author also claims to have written permission at any time, territory, or by the owners of the language and images of different parts of the work covered by copyright as defined in this contract without cost or expense to the publisher and SIe-L.
  • The author(s) affirms that the submitted article to Journal of e-Learning and Knowledge Society (Je-LKS) is original and that is has neither been published previously nor is currently being considered for publication elsewhere
  • The author agrees that SIe-L (Italian Society of e-Learning) has the right to publish the material sent for inclusion in the journal Je-LKS.
  • The author agree that articles may be published in digital format (on the Internet or on any digital support and media) and in printed format, including future re-editions, in any language and in any license including proprietary licenses, creative commons license or open access license. SIe-L may also use parts of the work to advertise and promote the publication.
  • The author is informed that a post-acceptance pre-publishing fee of 150 euros is required to cover the editing process and publication in open access format.

Author Guidelines

If you want to submit a paper for a particular number you must consider at least two months before the new issue, otherwise the paper will be allocated in next issue slot of the peer review process.
Submission is free, so anyone can send a paper that will be revised according to the journal’s rules.

A post-acceptance pre-publishing fee of 150 euros is required to the authors to cover the editing process and publication in open access format.

Author can use the paper model to follow the Guidelines for Authors.

In case of inadequacy with the formal requirements of the contributions will be rejected without being sent to reviewers.
Je-LKS requires that a paper must follow some characteristics:
• an abstract (maximum 250 words)
• the contribution (maximum 40000 characters including spaces) including, bibliography, tables, pictures, awards, etc..
• the author must include the reference list in the metadata as well as all the metadata related to the authors.

The entire document MUST NOT EXCEED 40,000 characters (including spaces).

Please note: in case of non-compliance with the requirements the job will be rejected.

The paper MUST BE ANONYMOUS, the author's name and affiliation must not appear near the title, in the acknowledgements on the references or their biographical notes.

During submission, use the menu of SECTION to submit your paper in a Special Issue or in the Permanent Call.

 

Copyright Notice

The author declares that the submitted to Journal of e-Learning and Knowledge Society (Je-LKS) is original and that is has neither been published previously nor is currently being considered for publication elsewhere.
The author agrees that SIe-L (Italian Society of e-Learning) has the right to publish the material sent for inclusion in the journal Je-LKS.
The author agree that articles may be published in digital format (on the Internet or on any digital support and media) and in printed format, including future re-editions, in any language and in any license including proprietary licenses, creative commons license or open access license. SIe-L may also use parts of the work to advertise and promote the publication.
The author declares s/he has all the necessary rights to authorize the editor and SIe-L to publish the work.
The author assures that the publication of the work in no way infringes the rights of third parties, nor violates any penal norms and absolves SIe-L from all damages and costs which may result from publication.

The author declares further s/he has received written permission without limits of time, territory, or language from the rights holders for the free use of all images and parts of works still covered by copyright, without any cost or expenses to SIe-L.
